Sentencing in March on unlawful wounding charge

by isleofman.com 2nd February 2011

A sixty-one-year-old woman has appeared at a Court of General Gaol, accused of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Josephine Ann Lloyd, of Ballaquark, Farm Hill in Douglas, pleaded not guilty to the charge, but admitted unlawfully wounding Barbara Whitlow on July 9 last year.

Deemster Doyle was told the plea was acceptable to the prosecution and there would be no need for a trial.

Lloyd was bailed to appear for sentence on March 21.
