Police appeal for information about Mountain Road collision

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a traffic collision on the Mountain Road.

 

It happened at 6pm on Monday (January 31) close to the Creg-ny-Baa pub and one of the vehicles involved left the scene before the police turned up.

 

It is believed to be a dark Land Rover-type vehicle.

 

Constable David Thommeny said the road was heavily populated with traffic at the time and he would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have details of the vehicle.

 

No further details of the incident have been released.
