'Cut back on bosses' says MHK

North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson says the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure should scrap proposals to axe 22 jobs and look at its management instead.

The jobs are at risk at Banks Circus among craftsmen such as blacksmiths and coach painters.

Mr Henderson says he has looked through the department's organisational charts and has found management positions he doesn't think are needed.

He says the department could save the ?900,000 it needs this year by cutting back on bosses:
