Traditional ceilidh for Manx Wildlife Trust

by isleofman.com 30th January 2011

THE Manx Wildlife Trust is holding a traditional ceilidh at Castletown Civic Hall to raise funds for its vital nature conservation work.

It will take place on Saturday, March 5, at 7.15pm for 7.30pm start.

During the evening there will be dancing to the Calor Gas Ceilidh Band.

Tickets, priced £12.50 each, are available from the Wildlife Shop or the charity's office, both based at Tynwald Mills, St Johns, or by ringing 801985.

They include a beef hotpot supper (a vegetarian option is available - please advise at the time of booking) and first drink.

Further drinks will be available for a donation.

The Manx Wildlife Trust is working hard to protect rare animals and plants such as corncrakes and orchids, to save places where wildlife is especially threatened and to restore natural beauty to derelict land.
