Last minute rush expected, as entries close

by isleofman.com 29th January 2011

It's the last chance to submit forms for the 2011 Manx Music Festival.

Entries for the Guild, as the event is more commonly known, must be in by this evening (Saturday).

Secretary of the festival David Cowley says the date is a couple of weeks earlier than usual, and the festival itself has been brought forward to avoid a clash with Easter, which is particularly late this year.

He says entries have been coming in at a good rate but, despite widely advertising the earlier dates, he is still expecting a last minute rush (play audio file):

Guild week this year runs from April 2 to 9.
