THE cold spell of weather is set to continue over the weekend for the Isle of Man, feeling even colder in the north easterly breeze which is getting much stronger early next week.
So, it’s definitely not a weekend for getting the barbecue out - yet. But a weekend digging the garden and spreading some manure or organic mulch will raise the body temperature and will get the garden set for the spring. The farmers are muck-spreading at the moment all over the Island, so it’s got to be right.
Photographs taken this week include a golden sunset from The Lhen, stars at midnight over the north and Snaefell in the late afternoon from Ramsey bay. If you have any interesting photographs we would be delighted to publish them. Send to newsroom@isleofman.com
