Have staff views been ignored?

The Manx government's detailed proposals for a transformed public sector pension scheme are now out for consultation.

Six and a half thousand public sector workers will pay more for their pensions in future, if the single, unified scheme, which replaces the existing 15 schemes, is implemented.

Earlier this week, the chief minister said responses from pension scheme members and their unions to the outline plans had been taken into consideration, and reflected in the detailed design of the scheme.

But Angela Moffatt, negotiations officer for civil service union Prospect, doesn't think those views have been taken into account:
