Douglas Rotary Club is getting behind an international effort to help eradicate polio, and is calling on the Manx public to get involved.
Members of the organisation around the world have already raised more than $800 million to provide polio vaccines to two billion children.
Now a drive is in full swing to raise yet more money to banish the disease in the last four countries where it still exists.
Douglas Rotary is supporting the 'Thanks for Life' campaign day on February 23, which will be the highlight of a week of special events on the Island.
