It looks as if there will be job cuts at the Department of Home Affairs, as it looks to make more savings ahead of next month's Manx budget.
A statement from the department says the reduction to the Island's income from the VAT sharing agreement means substantial further cost savings have to be found for the forthcoming financial year.
It's being emphasised front-line services such as police, fire, prison, probation and communications won't be affected.
