ALL services and clinics at Ramsey Cottage Hospital are running as normal despite a power cut in the town this morning (Tuesday).

The Department of Health said patients should attend their appointments.

The phone systems at the hospital have been affected so patients who need to contact Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital today are advised to contact the Noble's Hospital switchboard on 650000.

Shortly after 10am a Manx Electricity Authority spokesman said: "We are currently receiving reports of loss of power/flickering lights in the North of the Island (Ramsey, Bride, Andreas, Jurby).

"Engineers are on site and a further update will be provided as soon as we know more."
