No change in Rushen parish rate

by isleofman.com 25th January 2011

Rushen Commissioners have frozen the parish rate for the forthcoming financial year.

The figure of 67 pence in the pound, plus a sum of ?10 per household for the disposal of refuse, will continue to be charged for at least another twelve months, from April 1st.

The board says good housekeeping has enabled it to absorb the increases in expenditure which are being faced.
