A further step has been taken in the overhaul of public sector pensions in the Isle of Man.
A new Government Unified Scheme, or GUS, aims to provide pensions for 6,500 public sector staff.
If agreed, it will replace the 15 different pension schemes currently available.
Details have been outlined by the chief minister today (Monday), and there's a further chance for members and unions to give feedback.
The new scheme offers a similar benefits package to those available at present, but Tony Brown says existing scheme members can expect to pay more in the future:
A three month consultation on the detailed design of the new scheme is now under way, with a target date for introduction of April 2012.
