PEOPLE working in the Isle of Man can now report health and safety incidents over the internet after a new online reporting system was launched.

Neil Jamieson, principal inspector of the Health and Safety Inspectorate, said: "The facility provides a more convenient way for responsible  persons including employers , persons in control and the self employed to comply with their legal responsibilities, as defined by The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1985 (RIDDOR)."

Workers now have access to three report forms which they can complete online and submit via the Department of Infrastructure's website.

These are:
- F2508  Report of an Injury or Dangerous Occurrence,
- F2508G  Report of Flammable Gas Incidents and Dangerous Gas Fittings
- F2508A Report of a Case Of Disease
