THE Island's TT races will be featured as one of the world's greatest motorcycle rides in a new series of a programme with the same name.
The Isle of Man is the first place to be featured in a new series of World's Greatest Motorcycle Rides which will be shown tonight (Thursday) on the Travel Channel – Sky 251.
Filming for the programme was undertaken in October last year and crew from the channel were escorted on their visit by World Superbike rider Chris Walker. He gave Travel Channel presenter Henry Cole a racer's view of the Island.
World's Greatest Motorcycle Rides has been running for the last six years and is the highest rating series that the Travel Channel has. It is broadcast to 18million homes throughout Europe, Eastern Europe, South Africa and New Zealand.
World's Greatest Motorcycle Rides is on at 9pm on The Travel Channel.
