Advocate faces cross-examination

An Isle of Man advocate charged with money laundering offences returns to the witness box at her trial this morning (Thursday).

Jenny Holt denies handling ?400,000 stolen by former business tycoon Trevor Baines and his wife Wendy.

Thirty-year-old Miss Holt, of Union Mills, was part of the defence team representing the couple at their money laundering trial in the autumn of 2009.

After completing her evidence this morning, she will be cross-examined by the prosecution.
