A League Results

 
Deloitte (116) v Island Restorations (134)
Edgewater B (134) v Davrost (107)
Gamers (129) v MAS (116)
Jelly Beans (131) v Motorvation (125)

 

The New Year brought a first win of the season for Jelly Beans.

 

Phil Shaw got the better of John Smith while Carl Albrigt won a five set thriller by a single point against Graham Parrington.

 

John Knight could not make it a clean sweep losing to Mike Hayler but still picking up enough points to give his side their first win.

 

Jelly Beans stay bottom of the table but their opponents Motorvation secured enough points to maintain their place at the top.

 

Gamers stay in second place after their victory over MAS. Phil Challenger needed all five games to beat John Coppell by a single point in this thrilling encounter.

 

Ashley Sykes had a slightly easier 3-0 win over Hamish Thornton while Peter Ferguson prevented the clean sweep with a 3-0 win over Mike Hebden.

 

Island Restorations’ win saw them leapfrog their opponents Deloitte to take third place in the table.

 

Dave O’Neil beat Chris Cave in straight sets while Pete Sharples need five games to get the better of Liam O’Brian.

 

Thom Whiteway prevented the clean sweep beating Paul Barnett by a single point in another five set thriller.

 

In the remaining match of the evening Edgewater B’s win over Davrost leapfrogged them above their opponents to fifth in the table.
