Crews deal with minor blaze

by isleofman.com 18th January 2011

Fire crews from Douglas tackled a minor incident at White Hoe industrial estate, at lunchtime today (Tuesday).

One of the units had a fire on its roof, which was quickly extinguished.

The Fire and Rescue Service says smoke made its way into the whole building, affecting another three units, and crews spent 45 minutes clearing it.

Damage was contained to a small part of the roof, with scorching to an adjacent wall.
