Board chairman announces another rate freeze

Onchan's rate is to remain unchanged for the third year in a row.

The district commissioners last night (Monday) announced it would stay at 266 pence in the pound for the twelve months from April 1.

Chairman Brian Stowell says it's down to sensible long-term planning, kick-started by a nine per cent rate rise in 2008:
