A FILM about growing up in the 1970s will be the next shown by the Films in Peel Committee.
Cemetery Junction, written and directed by British comedians Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, tells the story of three young working class friends as they set out on their rocky path into adulthood.
Loosely based on Ricky's upbringing in Reading this is a heart warming nostalgic drama set in a long hazy summer in Britain in the 1970s.
Cemetery Junction (cert 15) will be shown on Wednesday, January 26, at 7.45pm at the Centenary Centre in Peel.
Tickets cost £4 or £3 for concessions and are available from Celtic Gold in Peel, Shakti Man in Ramsey, Peter Norris and Mostly Music in Douglas and Thompson Travel in Port Erin.
Any unsold tickets will be available on the door.
