FIRE crews from Ramsey spent an hour and 30 minutes at a disused commercial property in the town after rubbish caught on fire.
Two fire crews, wearing breathing apparatus, were called to Gladstone Avenue at 4.45pm yesterday (Sunday) to extinguish the fire and carry out a search of the building.
The fire was confined to rubbish materials that were stored in the building and there was slight smoke damage to the ground floor.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
