Vikings are champions - again!

The dominant side in the Wi Manx women’s Premier Division clinched the title yet again on Saturday.

And they were led to victory by the dominant player in the top flight.

Kim Carney struck a hat-trick as Vikings A secured the silverware in style with a 4-1 win over Bacchas A.

Dani Coombes netted the other for the champions as they completed a superb league season.

Sam Frabklin scored for Bacchas.

Valkyrs B were 5-2 winners over Bacchas B, thanks to goals from Amy Speed (two), Katie Craster, Tas Cleveley and A Henderson.

Winnie Kearns and Chloe Cornish found the net for Bacchas B.

Champions Bacchas A finished off their campaign with an unbeaten record but rivals Valkyrs A ensured they wouldn’t end the campaign with a 100 per cent record.

That’s after the two sides drew 1-1in the final match of the season.

Jamie Brown scored for Bacchas, as they finished five points clear at the top.

Garteh Morris was on target for the second placed side.

Bacchas B finished their season in style by thrashing Vikings A 5-1.

Tony Bentley-Roberts (two), John Pearson, Craig Leece and 14 year-old Josh Riordan grabbed the goals.

Castletown A secured fifth spot ahead of Harlequins A by seeing off their opponents 3-1, thanks to goals from Don Stewart, Steve Ronan and Christian Steriopulous.

Adam Hussey was the ‘Quins marksman.
