It's going to cost ?3,700 of ratepayers' money to repair the damage, following an attack by vandals at the Rose Garden in Clifton Terrace, Douglas last October.
A statue of a Greek wrestler was ripped from its base and thrown onto a concrete path, and lighting in trees was also wrecked.
A reward is still being offered for information leading to the conviction of those responsible.
Chairman of the Leisure Services Committee Stephen Pitts says the bill for the statue will be seventeen hundred pounds, and getting the lighting back in working order will be even more costly (play audio file):
