Part of an iconic footpath is proving impassable, much to the frustration of residents in the south of the Island.
The Millennium Way, which runs down the spine of the Island from Ramsey to Castletown, provides pleasurable walks for many, both in sections or the whole 25 miles.
But Ballasalla resident Bill Ward, who uses the path alongside the Silverburn River, between Ballasalla and Castletown every day, is among those having difficulties, after a fence was erected (first part of audio file):
