HARDWARE store B&Q is closed this morning after a substantial amount of money was stolen from the store.

The Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team and CID are investigating the theft which took place in the early hours of this morning.

As a result of the ongoing investigation B&Q is shut but the business is likely to open at around 12pm.

Anyone with information or who was in the area of B&Q overnight is asked to contact police immediately on 01624 631212.
