'Derisory' sum offered to parents of crewman

Families of the fishermen who died when the Solway Harvester went down have been offered compensation for the loss of their loved ones.

All seven crewmen drowned when the scallop dredger sank in Manx waters eleven years ago today (Tuesday).

Scottish journalist Mike McKenzie has covered the story since the night of the tragedy.

He describes the sum offered to a family he spoke to as 'derisory':
