'Buying Manx meat helps the whole Island'

Farmers in the Isle of Man are hoping the public will stick with Manx meat, now the red meat derogation has ended.

The agreement, which limited the amount of beef which could be imported into the Island, finished at the end of last month.

President of the Manx National Farmers' Union Ray Craine says Manx meat is produced to high standards, and consumers should be aware that buying locally supports the whole Island:
