MHK says 'no' to any user agreement extension

A member of the House of Keys says he will fight any attempts by the owners of the Steam Packet to extend the linkspan user agreement.

The agreement effectively prevents potential competition from offering passenger services, and East Douglas MHK Chris Robertshaw thinks extending its life would be one way of dealing with the firm's debts:
