A lecture about the 'little people'

by isleofman.com 10th January 2011

PROFESSOR Ronald Hutton will be giving a lecture about traditional fairy beliefs this Friday (January 14).

The popular historian and TV personality is well known for his previous successful talks hosted by Manx National Heritage on Druidism and the Changing Face of Manx Witchcraft.

Friday's lecture, at the Gaiety Theatre, Douglas, on 'the little people' should prove popular as it is one of the subjects the Isle of Man is most famous for.

Tickets are £10 per adult, £5 for members of the Friends of Manx National Heritage and £5 per child. They are available at the Manx Museum Heritage Shop, Douglas, House of Manannan, Peel, or online at www.manxheritageshop.com
