Explosive fun planned in Peel!

by isleofman.com 10th January 2011

People living near Peel Clothworkers' School are being warned to expect explosions tomorrow (Tuesday).

As part of their history lessons, pupils will be treated to a visit from a Tudor soldier, who will be giving demonstrations on the school grounds.

One demonstration will feature medieval artillery, with cannons being fired between 11am and noon.

Organisers are keen not to alarm people who might hear the explosions.

They also plan to reschedule the programme to Wednesday if the weather is bad.
