Banish the blues with sing-a-long Grease

by isleofman.com 10th January 2011

FILMS in Peel are aiming to banish those winter blues by screening a sing-a-long version of Grease.

The Films in Peel Committee are kicking off the 2011 film programme on Wednesday with the 1970s smash hit musical which features John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

Films in Peel committee member Jenny Oliver said: "We have got hold of the sing-a-long version so our audience can join in and sing those winter blues away. We will be encouraging the audience to dress up too. It will be the perfect medicine for these dark winter days."

The film, which is certificate PG, starts at 7.45pm, at the Centenary Centre in Peel. Tickets cost £4 or £3 for concessions.

Tickets are available from Celtic Gold in Peel, Shakti Man in Ramsey, Peter Norris and Mostly Music in Douglas and Thompson Travel in Port Erin.

Any unsold tickets will be available on the door.
