A 10-year-old boy has raised £110 for Oxfam by carrying out a house to house collection in North Douglas during the festive season.

Brendan Gilardoni, who is a Year Six pupil at Willaston School, has collected for Oxfam over the past three years.

Sue Burnham, manager of the Oxfam shop in Douglas, was delighted to accept the funds raised and promised the money will be used to help children in poor countries overcome poverty.
