Katie Taylor and Becky Jones grabbed the goals as Ramsey A were 2-1 winners over Bacchas B, while Valkyrs B and Castletown B shared a goalless draw.

In the Wi-Manx men’s Premier Division, champions Bacchas A are one game away from completing their campaign with a 100 per cent league record.

That’s after they thrashed Vikings A 6-2, thanks to a Jamie Brown hat-trick and goals from Sean Corlett, Alex Bell and Dave Kneale.

Johnny Killey and Andy Harding were on the scoresheet for Vikings.

Second placed Valkyrs A hit seven past Bacchas B without reply, courtesy of Chris Caldwell (three), Ollie Webster (two), Gareth Morris and Steven Moore.

Saracens A may have been relegated but took some heart from a 6-1 thrashing of Harlequins A.

Steve Cottier (three), Steve Jackson, Andrew Winstanley and Anton Bolton netted with Peter Foxton scoring for ‘Quins.

Richard McAleer and Christian Daws were the scorers as Castletown A and Vikings B drew 1-1.

Elsewhere, Ramsey A are back in the men’s Premier League after a 2-2 draw at Valkyrs B sealed promotion.

Vikings B clinched the Wi-Manx women’s Division One title after a 1-1 draw with Harlequins A.
