The Isle of Man's public warning siren system is being tested this morning (Saturday).
Sirens at all 31 sites will sound a steady 'all clear' note for 15 seconds, at 11am.
It is a routine quarterly check and there is no need to take any action.
In a real emergency the sirens would sound a rising and falling note for three minutes.
In such an event the advice would be to 'Go in, stay in and tune in' to the local radio stations, to await instructions.
