Road tax proposals amended

People power has seen the Manx government rein in some of its proposed increases in road tax for the coming financial year.

The Vehicle Duty Order 2011/12 has now been finalised and will go before Tynwald shortly.

Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says one group made particularly strong representations, and his department has taken its views on board:
