Ryan's two in a row at Santa Dash

by isleofman.com 7th January 2011

The Isle of Man Bank Santa dash was won by Ryan Fairclough.

It was his second consecutive victory in the event, which was postponed from last month because of snow and ice on the roads and pavements

Ryan was running for motor neurone disease, as was second-placed Kevin Loundes.

Third place went to Kevin Vondy running for Grace Third World Fund.

First lady home was Paula Gelling for Victim Support.

It wasn't a record-breaking year, with the conditions less than ideal.

Ryan's winning time was 4 minutes 47 seconds, which was 19 seconds off the record for the event.
