Woman charged with attempted murder

A 61 year-old woman charged with attempted murder has appeared before the Deputy High Bailiff.

Cathleen Bernadette McNeil of Shore Road in Peel is alleged to have tried to kill her former husband on December 27.

A bail application by her advocate Jason Stanley was refused.

Deputy High Bailiff Alastair Montgomery remanded her in custody to February 1.
