FORMER Vicar of Arbory Parish Church the Rev Chris Quine will be the guest speaker at the President of Tynwald's New Year Christian Fellowship breakfast.
The event takes place on Tuesday, January 18, before the first Tynwald sitting of the year.
President of Tynwald Noel Cringle MLC said: "I am pleased to be welcoming Chris Quine back to the Island.
"Now residing in Southport he will be remembered by many for his ministry in the parish of Arbory and, although officially retired, he remains very active in his community and is looking forward to renewing acquaintances during his short visit "home".'
The breakfast will be held in the Prince Albert Suite of the Empress Hotel, Douglas, starting at 8am prompt.
The cost is £8.50 per person for a full Manx breakfast. Those wishing to join the President are asked to confirm their attendance in writing - enclosing a cheque for £8.50 made payable to the Empress Hotel - to Sandie Bougourd, Legislative Buildings, Finch Road, Douglas, IM1 3PW, by January 11.
