Student has problems banking winning cheque!

A Manx student has been able to break his silence and talk about how he performed on a BBC television quiz show.

Twenty-year-old Lorcan O'Mahoney, who studies law at Preston, walked away with ?2,630 after winning the Weakest Link.

The programme was filmed over a month ago, but was only broadcast yesterday (Tuesday) evening.

Speaking to Manx Radio as he celebrated with his friends in a pub last night, Lorcan said not revealing how well he had done was the most difficult secret he had ever had to try and keep.

He said also had some problems when he came to put the cheque into his bank account:
