by isleofman.com 4th January 2011

ONE of the world's top Elvis impersonators will be performing at the Gaiety Theatre, Douglas, on Friday (January 7).

Lee "Memphis" King was actually declared the best Elvis tribute artist in the world at the 2005 Collingwood Elvis Festival in Canada - the largest Elvis festival in the world.

He saw one of Elvis's films, Roustabout, when he was only a few years old and has loved the man and his music from that day on.

He said: "To me Elvis was the greatest performer and vocalist of the last century and I constantly strive for perfection when I perform his songs."

For tickets for the Gaiety show visit the Welcome Centre, Douglas, ring 600555 or book online at www.villagaiety.com
