Classic Buskers to perform in Peel

by isleofman.com 5th January 2011

THE Classic Buskers will be appearing at Peel Centenary Centre on Saturday, February 5.

The duo communicates its passion for classical music by using virtuosity and laughter.

Michael Copley plays more than 40 woodwind instruments at incredible speeds ranging from recorders, flutes, panpipes, crumhorns and ocarinas to a Pico Pipe and a 'rubber trout' - accompanied by Ian Moore on a small accordion.

Their performance is described as "a great show for those who know a little about classical music - listen out for an endless stream of musical jokes - or indeed for anybody who simply appreciates wit and wants to be entertained".

The Buskers have performed in more than 20 countries and in 15 languages.

Tickets for the show are £15 - for more details and ticket outlets see www.centenarycentre.com
