There were a record breaking 101 days with ground frost, beating the previous record, set in 1979, by ten days.

It snowed on 22 days at Ronaldsway, the fourth highest number on record, but the snow remained on the ground for 19 days during the year, the most since records began.

It was a mixed year for rainfall, with March, July, September and November being wet months. However, there was also a very dry spell in April, May and June.
