Postal services restored

by isleofman.com 30th December 2010

Isle of Man Post says things are back to normal after snow and ice blanketed Britain, and it's able to restore its Special Delivery service.

It says conditions across much of the United Kingdom have improved sufficiently for the organisation to restore the guarantee for Special Delivery items.

Isle of Man Post says there will be no deliveries on Saturday, January 1 or Monday, January 3 .

It means Special Delivery items posted by December 31 are guaranteed for delivery on January 4, except in Scotland where the guaranteed delivery date is January 5.
