Road with damaged bridge to reopen?

by isleofman.com 30th December 2010

Police will decide later this morning (Thursday) whether a road which has been closed because of a damaged bridge can be reopened to traffic.

Engineers have carried out a structural assessment on the bridge, following a road accident last week.

It has seen the closure of the Glenmooar Road from it's junction with the Poortown Road to its junction with the Glenmooar loop road.

Police will say whether the road can come back into use at around 11am.
