STUART "The Brand" Baggs was spectacularly fired from the television series The Apprentice in December.
In the penultimate episode of the BBC show Lord Sugar ripped into the Island businessman questioning whether he had been telling the truth at all during the eleven week process.
Five candidates faced a grilling from high flying business people who took fine tooth combs to the candidates CV’s and all managed to find fault with Stuart Baggs.
He was taken to task over his Island telecoms business BlueWave Communications with Bordan Tkachuk, the chief executive of computer firm Viglen, claiming it was not what Stuart had made it out to be.
Mr Tkachuk said: "It says here – 'I formed BlueWave Communications, a fully licensed telecoms operator on the Isle of Man'.
"So if I said to you I spoke to a certain gentlemen who is the licensing and compliance officer of the Isle of Man Government I'm assuming he would know."
Stuart confirmed that this was correct and Mr Tkachuk continued: "He confirmed that BlueWave does not hold a licence for mobile or fixed communications. BlueWave only holds an ISP license for broadband. Stuart you're blagging.
"I'm seeing a bit of a blagger. You may have been able to blag some of the others but you're not going to blag me."
He was also mocked for calling himself "Stuart Baggs The Brand". Businessman Claude Littner said: "I'm Stuart Baggs the brand? What on earth are you talking about? You're a 21 year old kid. You're not a brand."
Stuart did try to argue his point saying "well if you look at what a brand means…" but a furious Mr Littner interrupted: "Don't tell me what a brand means okay. You're not a brand." Refusing to give up Stuart responded: "I think I might be."
He also managed to irritate Margaret Mountford, who until this series was Lord Sugar's right hand woman, by greeting her informally. She exclaimed: "Would you normally address an interviewer who you hadn't met by their first name?"
Leaving no stone or interviewer unturned Stuart also managed to offend the corporate lawyer Alan Watts who told him: "You're actually not a very nice person are you? You appear to be prepared to do anything to further your career. You don't seem to have any ethics."
After a day of intense interviews Stuart remarked: "I feel like I've just gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. My head is spinning."
Following a de-brief with his four aides Lord Sugar called all potential apprentices back to the boardroom for the traditional showdown where he was quick to pull Stuart up over his company.
He told him: "It's interesting that the regulator of Isle of Man Telecoms doesn't know anything about you. My guy is not a mug he knows people.
"What annoys me more is that if I've misunderstood you with your claims and everything else you said you've done, and someone like Liz left the process last week, I feel more sick.
"I don't believe a word you say, Stuart. I'm annoyed with myself that you've been allowed to come this far through the process. Stuart - you are fired."
With that Stuart made his way out of the boardroom and into a waiting taxi where he vented his final opinion.
He said: "I'm feeling gutted naturally that I've been fired I thought I was the perfect candidate for the job but more so the dramatic way in which I've been fired. It's entirely unfair and I think maybe everyone has had a complete lack of understanding about what I'm really about."
