Number of roads re-opened

THE following roads re-opened at 2pm today (Tuesday) following an assessment by the Roads Policing Unit:

 

The Mountain Road

 

Injerbreck Road

 

Druidale Road

 

Tholt y Will Road

 

Round Table to Niarbyl Road

 

The following roads remain closed:

 

Glen Mooar Road, due to structural damage to a bridge following a traffic collision and Brandywell Road due to snow/ice between Brandywell and the Druidale junction.

 

Drivers are reminded to continue to take care on all of the Island's roads as there is still some snow and ice in parts.

 

Also there are a number of areas suffering localised flooding including the Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road and Ballafletcher Road, Tromode, as well as areas suffering with fog.
