No need for alarm over superbug

Don't let news of a new superbug strain put you off if getting fit is your resolution for the New Year.

That's the message from the Isle of Man's director of public health, Dr Parameswaren Kishore.

On Christmas Eve it was revealed that MRSA USA 300 had been discovered on the Island.

It tends to spread in places like gyms, sports halls and swimming pools, but Dr Kishore says people shouldn't be alarmed:
