Beautiful setting for Christmas celebration

Thousands of people have gathered at St John's to enjoy the third and final live reenactment of the Nativity at Tynwald Hill.

The 2010 version of 'Christmas on the Hill' involved live animals and around 60 people, who played the part of angels, shepherds, the three kings, Joseph, Mary and, of course, the baby Jesus.

Judith Ley described the snowy spectacle live on Manx Radio, and said the sky brought its own little bit of magic to the proceedings:
