More snow showers a possibility

by isleofman.com 24th December 2010

The Department of Infrastructure is pre-treating the six primary 'main' routes north, south and east from Douglas, from 6pm today (Friday).

The Met Office says there is a risk of isolated snow showers in the west and southwest of the Island this late afternoon and evening.

Temperatures are set to fall to between minus 2 and minus 6 Celsius in places tonight.

The message to motorists stays the same, namely drive with extreme caution and don't assume that because roads have been treated they will be free from ice.
