Tough draw for Manx Clubs

by isleofman.com 22nd December 2010

Castletown and Cronkbourne have been given tough draws in next season’s Lancashire Cup.

The Town will travel to play Penwortham, a club just south of Preston.

They run four Saturday sides and their first eleven were runners-up in the Premier Division of the Palace Shield League.

Cronkbourne are also away.

Their opponents are Barnoldswick who play at Pendlw in the Ribblesdale Cricket League.

They run three senior teams and employ a professional.

Both games are planned for Sunday 15th May.
