Rearranged festive event

by isleofman.com 22nd December 2010

Ramsey's rescheduled lantern parade is taking place this evening (Wednesday).

The event, which was postponed on Saturday because of the snow and ice, will start at the town hall car park at 5pm.

The procession will begin half an hour later and will be followed by carols around the Christmas tree.

The parade will be led by the Ramsey Young People’s Project for which there will be a street collection.

Anyone willing to act as a marshal is asked to go to the town hall car park at 4.45pm.
